Ed Hirshberg is a member of the firm’s Litigation and Real Estate Law Groups. In addition to an extensive background in real-estate matters, his legal experience includes a broad focus in litigation, ranging from municipal and school based litigation to preparing motions in criminal matters. Ed also has experience dealing with insurance claims, foreclosure proceedings, breach of contract suits, personal injury actions, eminent domain questions, and creditor’s rights issues.
A 2002 graduate of Colgate University, Ed graduated cum laude with an emphasis in Creative Writing and a minor in Political Science. He later attended the Duquesne University School of Law, earning his JD in June 2012. During his time in law school, Ed was active in the Trial Advocacy program and a member of the Appellate Moot Court Board, representing Duquesne at the ABA Law Student Division Negotiation Competition. He also worked in the E-Discovery clinic, wrote for Juris magazine, and was a two-time Abraham and Edythe Fingold Endowed Scholarship Recipient.
