Mandi Scott’s primary focus is in the area of Municipal Creditor Rights and other municipal and local tax matters, with an emphasis on delinquent tax collection on behalf of the City and School District of Philadelphia. She also worked closely with local taxing bodies and tax collectors to implement Act 32 of 2008, which changed the collection of local earned income taxes throughout Pennsylvania. Mandi practices appellate litigation, assisting clients in an array of practice areas on appeal in both state and federal court. In addition to her municipal and appellate work, Mandi specializes in oil and gas leasing and litigation related matters.
Mandi graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Bucknell University in 2001. She received her J.D. from the George Mason University School of Law, graduating magna cum laude in 2004. Mandi is admitted to practice in the state and federal Pennsylvania courts, West Virginia and the United States Supreme Court. She is an active member of the Allegheny County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations.
