Jaime N. Doherty recently presented at the 2014 Sports and Fitness Injury Association (SFIA) Litigation Risk Management Summit in Phoenix, AZ. Her panel, “The Large Retailer’s View of the World” explored liability considerations in negotiating, implementing and enforcing vendor agreements, tiered insurance requirements, the challenges retailers face in the private label branding environment and cyber security concerns in the wake of cyber breaches experienced by the Target and Neiman Marcus stores.
Jaime, a member of the firm’s Litigation Group, practices in the areas of defense of product liability and toxic tort claims, commercial litigation, and construction, as well as civil rights, insurance defense and coverage disputes. Her clients include corporations, insurance companies, title agencies, municipalities, professional and recreational associations, school districts, private developers, and regional contractors and subcontractors. She has also worked on behalf of design professionals and sureties. She is panel counsel for several insurance companies and works with insurers and third-party administrators to defend construction defect, product liability, property and casualty losses.
