On Thursday, April 11, Joseph W. Gramc addressed the Real Property Section of the ACBA on tax sales.
The presentation reviewed tax sales in Allegheny County, including Sheriff’s Sales and the City of Pittsburgh’s Treasurer’s Sales. In more detail, it discussed the legal authority for each and how the process works, as well as the pros and cons of selling (and buying) through each type of sale.
The Real Property Section of the ACBA is composed of attorneys whose practice involves all aspects of real estate and real estate development law. Which much of the Section’s focus includes conveyancing, leasing, financing, land use planning, and planned unit developments, it also focuses on and considers tax issues which impact real estate matters.
