Elizabeth Warner Altman has been named in the area of Family Law. She represents clients in divorce, custody and support litigation, drafts settlement and premarital agreements and represents parents in adoption proceedings. She has recently been trained in the methods of Collaborative Law, which provides her Family Law clients with the option of staying out of court. In addition to Family Law, Elizabeth also maintains an active Estate Planning & Administration practice.
Jeffrey Hunt has been named in the area of Business/Corporate Law. He counsels clients regarding general corporate matters, including formation and operational issues, shareholder matters, employment issues, mergers and acquisitions, and creditors rights. In addition to his corporate law work, Jeff assists clients with structuring and implementing their estate plans through drafting wills and trusts, establishing family limited partnerships and formulating business succession plans. Jeff also represents local taxing bodies and governmental agencies with regard to their bankruptcy related matters.
Brian Lindauer has been named in the area of Real Estate Law. A member of the firm’s Real Estate and Business Law Groups, he advises the firm’s clients in a broad range of transactional matters, including real estate acquisitions and sales, lease negotiations, landlord and tenant matters and loan documentation. He also counsels mid-size businesses in formation and operational matters, including counseling on employment issues, financing, shareholder matters and acquisitions/sales.
Megan Turnbull is a member of the firm’s School and Municipal Law and Litigation Groups. She has been named a Rising Star in the area of Government/Cities/Municipalities. Megan represents schools and municipalities in all matters of organization, finance, legal compliance, and labor and employment litigation. She has recently been appointed as Solicitor of Conway, Avalon and Leetsdale Boroughs, as well as the Kennedy Township Uniform Construction Code Appellate Board.
Mandi Scott, named for her Appellate practice, assists clients in a variety of practice areas on appeal in both state and federal court. Her practice also includes Municipal Creditor Rights and other municipal and local tax matters, with an emphasis on delinquent tax collection on behalf of the City and School District of Philadelphia. She worked closely with local taxing bodies and tax collectors to implement Act 32 of 2008, which changed the collection of local earned income taxes throughout Pennsylvania.
John J. Richardson, named in the area of Personal Injury Defense: Products, has represented clients in a variety of industries including pharmaceutical and medical devices, consumer products, sports equipment, infant and juvenile products and industrial equipment and machinery. His litigation practice also focuses in the areas of insurance defense and coverage, commercial litigation, nursing home defense, and employment litigation, amongst others. He has tried cases in various state trial courts in Pennsylvania and participated on trial teams in the Federal District Courts in Pennsylvania and Ohio.
