Partners at GRB, Dana and Jaime, were admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court in a ceremony that took place in Washington, D.C. on May 29, 2012.They were honored to be admitted with a group of attorney members of the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM).Having successfully completed CLM's First Litigation Management Institute hosted last Fall at Columbia Law School, both attorneys were selected for admission along with 16 others.They were witness to Justice Antonin Scalia's reading of the Court's Opinion from the bench in the case, RadLAX Gateway Hotel v. Amalgamated Bank, No. 11-166, holding that a secured creditor cannot be denied the right to make a "credit bid" involving the sale of property or other assets as part of a bankruptcy reorganization plan.
