Goehring, Rutter & Boehm proudly announces the addition of Derek K. Koget, Esquire, to the firm

Derek is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Law, Litigation and Business Law Groups. He advises the firm’s clients in a broad range of transactional matters, including real estate acquisitions and sales, lease negotiations, landlord and tenant matters, financing, loan documentation and real estate tax assessments. He also litigates real estate title matters.

In addition to this work, Derek counsels small to mid-size businesses in formation and operational matters. He counsels on employment issues, financing, shareholder matters, and acquisitions and sales. He is also broadly experienced in the representation of municipal creditors and banks in state court collection matters and bankruptcy proceedings. 

Derek earned his undergraduate degree, a B.S. in Marketing, from Boston College and graduated from the Duquesne University School of Law, earning his J.D. in 2006. He is admitted to practice in all of the state courts in the Commonwealth and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Allegheny County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations.
