John J. Richardson is named to the Downtown PNC YMCA Board of Managers

In September 2012, John began serving on the Board of Managers for the Downtown PNC YMCA. 

Known at the nation’s leading nonprofit organization for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, the “Y” engages 9 million youth and 12 million adults in 10,000 communities around the world. The Greater Pittsburgh area is home to 19 locations.

John is a member of the firm’s Litigation Group, practicing in a variety of litigation matters that involve claims of strict product liability, negligence, breach of contract, breach of warranty, violations of consumer protection statutes, intentional interference with contractual relations, violations of restrictive covenants, insurance coverage issues and professional negligence/legal malpractice, amongst others.

Since 2009, John has served as a Board Member of the Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Greater Pittsburgh, along with being a “Big Brother.” He also serves as a Board Member, and Immediate Past President, for Pittsburgh Cares. In recent years, John has been actively involvement with the Pittsburgh Urban Magnet Project and Pittsburgh Next.
