Megan M. Ott, Esquire, is elected President of the ACBAs School and Municipal Solicitors Association

The School and Municipal Solicitor’s Association acts as a forum for the interchange of information and insight, through discussions of issues regarding local municipalities, schools districts and authorities. Along with providing CLE and other educational programs, the association arranges for the collection and dissemination of court opinions, arbitration awards, and similar information of particular interest to local government counsel, proposes and supports appropriate legislation, regulations, judicial decisions, procedures, and technologies which benefit local government and to represent the interests of the local government attorney in relations with the courts and related agencies.

Ms. Ott served as Vice-Chair of the association for two years before stepping into her new role as President. A member of the firm’s School and Municipal Law group, she represents municipalities and schools in all matters of organization, finance, legal compliance, labor and employment litigation. She currently serves as Solicitor to Conway Borough, the Borough of Avalon and the Kennedy Township Uniform Construction Code Appellate Board.
