Megan M. Ott to present on behalf of the Pennsylvania Bar Institute

On Monday, December 5, 2011, Megan will serve as a presenter in the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s “School Law: Update on Important Issues.” The class, intended for school law attorneys, will feature an update on the First Amendment Issues in Schools, Where PA stands on vouchers and charter schools, an update on recent state litigation that is affecting schools and students, and legal issues involving homeless students. 

The PBI (Pennsylvania Bar Institute) serves as the continuing education arm of the Bar Association. Its mission is to provide Pennsylvania lawyers with information that is timely, practical, cost effective, and of the highest possible quality. 

Megan is a member of the firm’s School and Municipal Law Group and offers a diverse set of school focused skills. She has handled a wide range of students’ issues; including discipline, transportation, special education and medication. She is also experienced in analyzing situations arising under the McKinney Vento and Fostering Connections Acts and developing actions plans.
