Wendy Denton Heleen to present “Estate and Financial Planning for Women”

On Wednesday, May 2, 2012, Wendy will present on behalf of the University of Pittsburgh’s Office of Institutional Advancement. The presentation, “Estate and Financial Planning for Women: Issues to Address By You and/or Your Spouse,” will cover the basics of estate planning, why it is important for women, aspects of a will and power of attorney, and information regarding taxes.

The University of Pittsburgh’s Office of Institutional Advancement undertakes the fundraising role of the university, while also maintaining active involvement with alumni around the world. But collecting funds from university supporters, Institutional Advancement facilitates the University’s objectives for growth and enhancement of its educational resources.

Wendy Denton Heleen specializes in all matters relating to planning and dealing with incapacity and death, including charitable planning and estate and trust documents.  She advises her clients in regard to probate and non-probate matters, beneficiary designations and planning to minimize income, gift, Federal estate and state inheritance tax.  She also advises decedent’s family members on estate administration procedures, including the preparation of death tax returns and the establishment of trusts.
