Serving as the Managing Partner of the firm, Brian is also an experienced member of the firm's Real Estate Law and Business Law Groups. He advises commercial, individual and financial institution clients in a broad range of transactional matters, including real estate acquisitions and sales, lease negotiations, landlord and tenant matters, financing, loan documentation and real estate tax assessments.
In addition to his real estate work, he counsels small to mid-size businesses in formation and operational matters. This work includes counseling on employment issues, financing, shareholder matters, acquisitions and sales and intellectual property.
Brian has been a member of the Board of Directors of Emmaus Community of Pittsburgh since 2013, and currently serves as Chairman. Emmaus provides permanent homes, respite care, in-home services and advocacy for people with intellectual disabilities and autism.
In addition, Brian is a Trustee of the Wright Thing To Do Scholarship Trust, which awards college and trade school scholarships for eligible students.
