A member of the firm’s Litigation Group, Matt’s practice involves areas of complex litigation, employment discrimination and counseling, products liability, Constitutional and Civil Rights litigation, and appellate work. He also advises insurance carriers on coverage implications, conflicts of law, and bad faith. Matt’s practice focuses on litigation in federal court where he represents individuals, employers, businesses, public entities and government officials. Matt’s recent representative successes include multiple dismissals of Section 1983 claims against a public school district, its employees and elected officials. Matt also recently assisted in the negotiation and court approval of over $1.7 billion in supersedeas bonds in a patent litigation case.
Matt joined GRB after serving two years as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Joy Flowers Conti of the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
Prior to his practice of law, Matt was the director of a nonprofit organization serving at-risk youth and their families.
