The Pennsylvania Bar Institute's Municipal Law Colloquium, which took place in the summer of 2017, provides local government attorneys the opportunity to refresh and maintain their municipal law knowledge.
In addition to presenting at the Colloquium this past summer, Kate presented in part of the "Best of" presentation on January 10th, providing a recap for those that could not attend the full event over the summer. The presentation was held live at the PBI headquarters in Mechanicsburg, PA and was simulcast to other locations and recorded for future web-based access on-demand for practitioners.
Kate presented on Code Enforcement best practices with a focus on how to handle problem properties. An active Solicitor for the Boroughs of Bradford Woods, Mt. Oliver and the Western Allegheny Municipal Authority, Kate is experienced in code compliance, land use issues, and complex labor and employment issues.
