Three GRB Law attorneys have been named 2023 Pennsylvania Super Lawyer Rising Stars! Only 2.5% of Pennsylvania attorneys are selected as Rising Stars. Ana Lisa Petrella, named in the Family Law category, is well-versed in all areas of family matters including divorce, equitable distribution, child and spousal support, custody, protections from abuse and jurisdictional actions. She also assists clients by drafting and negotiating prenuptial agreements, as well as estate-related objectives, such as wills, healthcare directives, and durable powers of attorney. Ana Lisa has been consistently named to the Rising Stars list since 2018.
David L. Scherer has been named in the State/Local/Municipal category. A member of the firm's Municipal Tax & Creditors' Rights and School & Municipal Law Groups, much of his focus centers around assisting our municipal clients, including the City and School District of Pittsburgh, the County of Allegheny, the City and School District of Philadelphia, as well as various local municipalities with the collection of delinquent real estate taxes and other municipal claims. He is also experienced in the areas of municipal regulatory compliance, as well as land use appeals, civil rights matters, and agency appeals.
Lisa M. Siefert has been named for her work in Employment and Labor Law. She routinely advises clients on best practices for discipline, termination, compliance, training, and other workplace issues. When litigation is unavoidable, she defends employers in claims of all kinds, including discrimination based upon age, race, gender, religion and national origin, along with issues involving disability and reasonable accommodations, harassment and retaliation. In addition to her work in Labor & Employment, Lisa maintains an active litigation practice, focusing in the areas of personal injury and construction.
